Geronimo
Dublin Core
Abstract
In 1908, the grandson of an Apache warrior - who stood up for his people and paid the price - tells his story in this heart-wrenching novel. The story tells how the Apache were brought to Florida, where they were held prisoner at Fort Marion (Castillo de San Marcos), from October of 1886 to nearly April of 1887. They were relocated yet again, to Pensacola, after their stay in the Oldest City.
