Abstract
In book two of the series, The St. Augustine Trilogy, Jeff Golden and Carla Rodriguez delve deeper into their paranormal abilities and powers. After Jeff's mother is murdered by her boyfriend, Jeff is taken in by Carla's grandmother and is also unofficially taken in by Lobo, the group's Native American mentor in the paranormal.
