Abstract
It is 1683, and teenage friends, Pedro - son of the former governor - and Tonoi - a Timucuan Indian - discover a pirate in the swamps near St. Augustine. Tonoi tricks the pirate into revealing the pirate plans and inform the town that three pirate ships are docked near the bay, waiting to pillage the town.
