A volume of vignettes of life with pets in late 19th century Florida.
This volume is listed in Florida bibliographies as being located in St. Augustine; however, it is much more plausible that it is located in Ft. Worth or Boynton. There is a chapter near the end of the book where a very quick stop in St. Augustine is mentioned, i.e. the weather. This book is included here because it was published in St. Augustine and the author's husband was an employee of Henry Flagler in West Palm Beach.
Mrs. Dewey's first novel, Bruno, does have several chapters providing cursory information about visits to or living in St. Augustine.
