After a deluded man encounters the stunning Genevieve Lewiston, the face of Butterfly Cosmetics, he makes an attempt on her life in a sick game intertwined with his dead wife. Surviving the attack allows Genevieve to escape to St. Augustine with a new identity: a humble schoolteacher named Jenny Lewis. As love begins to develop with coach Nick Hensen, Jenny's serene life in the Ancient City may be shattered by echoes of her past when it finds her and she learns other women have died the way she was meant to.
