Abstract
**Warning: Some readers may find certain scenes in this book disturbing.**
Marrying Dean Bravo and moving to Utina (fictional town north of Vilano Beach) with him sent the course of Arla Bolton's privileged life in a whole new direction. Even when a bloody accident mars her once perfect body, she must press on and continue with the life she and Dean have attempted to build together with a foundation of young love - that may or may not endure after her disfiguring accident. When opportunity for advancement in Utina comes knocking on the Bravo family's door, how will they weather the change and tumultuous conditions of their dysfunctional lives?
The other identifiable local locations are the Cathedral Basilica, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Mickler's Landing.
