In an effort to allow Chester a warm place to heal some injuries, Grandma Elsie and the Dinsmore and Raymond families make their way south to Florida for the winter. With marriage and exciting locales afoot, the Dinsmores are set on a path to idyllic adventures in the Florida sunshine before going to Louisiana to celebrate the wedding.
Local locations visited or mentioned include, but are not limited to Fort Caroline, the St. Johns River, the Old City Gates, the Hotel Ponce de Leon, the seawall, the Cathedral Basilica, and Fort Marion (the Castillo de San Marcos).
