After the murder of famous author Frank Cooper, his son, a Florida daily reporter for the Times-Union, Matt Cooper, throws himself right into solving the case. When his search for the truth takes him far beyond the bounds of the Ancient City and the conflict sweeps the country, Matt wonders if his father's mysterious allies had anything to do with his untimely demise, the German connection, and why the next presidential election is on the line?
