Abstract
**Warning: Some readers may find certain scenes in this book disturbing.**
In the midst of World War II, Peter Krug is sent to Florida in order to gain military intelligence that will give the Germans the upper hand in the fight. He and his compatriots are landed on a dark beach at night south of Ponte Vedra, FL. However, once word begins to spread that German spies have infiltrated the Sunshine State, especially to listening ears like those of Father Tony D'Angelo, Peter may be in for a rude awakening.
Other notable local locations visited include the Castillo de San Marcos, the Plaza de Constitucion, the Cathedral Basilica, Castle Warden Hotel (Ripley's Believe It or Not), Hotel Ponce de Leon, Flagler Hospital (now Bayview Healthcare), a variety of St. Augustine streets, St. Augustine Beach, and Marine Studios (Marineland).
