Body Shop

Dublin Core

Abstract

This Day McKelvey mystery follows Day after she survives a deadly car accident she was in on the outskirts of St. Augustine on SR-207 and begins investigating it. She's haunted by the other driver, a red-haired girl in a vintage convertible with its top down despite the rain pouring down; and her expression, as though she was pleading for Day's help. With help from her mother's involvement in the occult, her investigation leads back to where the other driver's car was stolen, a gated community by the beach, and a mansion being used as a "safe house" by a human trafficking ring.

Other notable local locations visited include the Cathedral Basilica, St. George Street, King Street, St. Augustine Beach, and the Bridge of Lions.
