The original purpose of this building was as a grand hotel.

Replaced by a parking lot, the Chase Bank on the corner of King and Granada and the small strip mall facing Granada Street.

Hotel Granada was built in 1893. It was located next to Villa Zorayda. The hotel was bought by the Mussallem family in 1913 and renamed the Alhambra Hotel. The hotel under this name was in operation until it burned down in 1954.
