Abstract

The 6th book of the Faye Longchamps Mystery series, eight-months-pregnant Dr. Faye Longchamps-Mantooth and her husband, Joe Wolf Mantooth are newly minted business owners who do archaeological digs. A chance meeting with the owners of a B&B in the Uptown District of St. Augustine, FL and the need to follow city guidelines to do an archaeological dig any time new construction is considered, brings them and their colleagues to an 1889 house with a secret past. The dig uncovers mysteries from several centuries that intertwine in the modern day with potentially tragic results.

The other identifiable local locations are the Castillo de San Marcos and San Marco Avenue.
