A Bone in Her Teeth

Dublin Core

Abstract

Framed for stealing by her sister-in-law, Anna Wells is bought off by her condescending big brother, Harold Green, who gives her an 'inheritance' of a boathouse in St. Augustine, Florida and tells her never to contact the family again. Still reeling with grief over the loss her husband and daughter, and her brother selling most of her worldly possessions, Anna is shipped to Florida to live alone in quiet contemplation. Suddenly, a series of recent murders leave her in a position to discover the truth behind what is really going on in the Oldest City while opening up chances to make new friends and start her life over.

Local locations visited or mentioned in the text include the St. Johns River, Bridge of Lions, the Marina where the shrimpers dock their boats in the San Sebastian River, the Plaza de la Constitucion, and Anastasia State Park.
