Abstract
The Cut of The Cross takes readers into Florida's First City in the 1780s after the Spanish were once again in control. Through the sandy streets, past the Castillo de San Marcos young Lieutenant Dorado Delgado hunts down the killer of the Governor's niece, young Gloria. Her body washed up on the shores of Spanish St. Augustine, causing panic in the entire colony.
